to Girvan

| Girvan is situated
on the main A77 coastal route and easily accessible from both Ayr
and Stranraer. Approaching from the North take the roundabout into Girvan.
Just round a left hand curve there is a road which runs off to the left.
This is the entrance to a free car park next to the Tourist Information
centre. If you want to park at the harbour turn right at the first lights
and you will head for the large swimming pool building. Go to the right
of this for parking. The walks start from the car park at the south of
Girvan. From the South the Shalloch car park can be found at the first
main roundabout at the south of Girvan on the A77. From the
North travel through Girvan to the roundabout at the south of Girvan and
