The Ferry Slipway on the East side of Cumbrae provides the vital ferry link to the mainland. The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry travels to Largs just over a mile away. Largs is a traditional seaside resort for holiday makers going 'Doon the Watter' during the Glasgow Fair holidays. It provides a great day out and some magnificent views of the area.
