The cycle path will take you to the Irvine Harbour with its Maritime Museum, Magnum Leisure Centre, The (now closed) Big Idea Inventor Centre, The Beach Park, and great views across to Arran, Troon, Ardrossan and Kintyre. Across from the harbour are the Bogside Flats, a natural habitat for wild birds. You may also see seals basking near the old pier in the distance.
