| Irvine Harbour has a number of attractions from the Scottish Maritime Museum to the popular Magnum Leisure Centre and the futuristic dome of the Big Idea. The Big Idea lies on the Ardeer Peninsula accessed by the Bridge of Scottish Invention, a special roll-back design which can be opened to allow ships to pass.
