Getting
to Straiton
From
the North head for Maybole on the A77 and then in the
middle of Maybole look for the sign for Crosshill and the B7023
on the south side of the main road. Follow the B7023 2.5 miles to Crosshill
and then leave the B7023 and head straight through the Crosshill. A mile
further on you will come to a junction with the B741. Turn left and
follow this road 3 miles to Straiton.From the South take the B734 at the roundabout north of Girvan and head 2 miles to Old Dailly where you go straight on, leaving the B734 and heading for Dailly 3 miles further on. Continue straight through Dailly and follow the road for 3.5 miles along the Water of Girvan until you reach a fork with the B741. Take the right road and follow the B741 for around 4 miles to Straiton.
The car park is near the junction of the B741 road and the B7045 on the outskirts of the village.
